Inspirational & Motivational Quotes Sites

One important value of inspirational quotes is, of course, that they motivate us to grow, to change, to do more, or to try more. Just reminding ourselves of what has inspired others can lead us more in the direction of our own spiritual path, whether that path be mundane or inspirational. A famous motivational quote from someone who has inspired millions...
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them. by Henry David Thoreau.
If we fail to build any foundations (through our efforts and dedication), then inspirational and motivational words become just another feel-good mechanism, like opium. Too often, we get inspired and then decide it is someone else's job/responsibility to make the changes. We blame them for their failure instead of seeing what LOCAL choices we might make in our own lives that would contribute in a small way (but our own personal way) to WORLDWIDE solutions. The inspirational power of one person doing something small IS seen by others. They are affected and they DO change and get motivated too (though not to our demands or to our impatience).

Today's Women's Quote
Judy Garland
I try to bring the audience's own drama - tears and laughter they know about - to them. Judy Garland

Excerpt from the book Finding Your Soul in the Spirituality Maze:   "Normal development in your lifetime this time around started with the baby-soul ideas of right and wrong. Then development as children and teens leads us to try to "make people do it our way." If we are young souls, then this will be our final stage of development. Most reading these words, however, are mature and old souls, who eventually develop the mature soul viewpoint of strong valuation of togetherness. If the true soul age is old, then acceptance of others' differences and less following of the crowd eventually become more important than togetherness."   Continued here - free read.
