A comparison of the effectiveness of Valtrex and Acyclovir:
A double-blind, 12-month, placebo- and active-controlled study enrolled immunocompetent adults with a history of 6 or more recurrences per year showed essentially the same results for Acyclovir and Valtrex, with recurrence rates of about 35% in 6 months and 46% in a year. Recurrence-free results happened 55% of the time during 6 months and 34% during 12 months time. Therefore, the choice for one or the other drug really will depend upon you and your body's individual responses.

Excerpt from the book Finding Your Soul in the Spirituality Maze:   "My search for "different" Buddhist interpretations led me to David Brazier's The Feeling Buddha. Brazier provides alternate explanations for some of Buddha's teachings, particularly the four noble truths. His explanations not only make more sense to me than conventional Buddhist teachings, but they also fit well with my criteria of accepting what is and non-attachment."   Continued here - free read.
