The following is an explanation of the winning hands:
How to Play - Instructions
A pair of Aces, Kings, Queens or Jacks. For example:
7,9,10,Q,Q.
2 pairs of cards with the same rank. For example: 4,4,10,10,K.
A set of three cards of the same rank. For example: 7,7,7,9,10.
For this hand, the ranks of all 5 cards must form
a series. For example: 3,4,5,6,7. An ace may be high
or low, but not both, so A,2,3,4,5 and T,J,Q,K,A are both OK straights,
but Q,K,A,2,3 is not.
All 5 cards have the same suit. For example: the 2,4,7,8,K,
of hearts
This hand is a combination of a pair and 3 of a kind.
3 cards of one rank and 2 cards of another rank.
For example: 2,2,2,J,J.
4 out of the 5 cards with the same rank. For example:
4,4,4,4,7.
A hand that's a straight and a flush, as explained above.
For example, the 2,3,4,5,6 of hearts.
This is the most difficult hand to get and pays off the most in video poker. It consists
of the Ten, Jack, Queen, King & Ace of the same suit.
